At Guma’ Tinemtom we are working together to conduct the first Guam National Health Interview Survey (GNHIS) and establish a Micronesian Data Laboratory for our island community. Our focus is on research and to better understand the amount, distribution, and effects of illness and disability on Guam.
Our survey is modeled after the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), and we are working in collaboration with universities and other community partners to establish GNHIS and the Micronesian Data Lab as the premiere source of health information for the island and our region. We are committed to establishing ourselves as the principal source of information on the health of our island’s people.
